Obituary of Troy Eugene Troutman

Troy Eugene Troutman was born on May 21st, 1980 to Boots and Penny Troutman. He peacefully passed away on April 29th, 2023. He is survived by his sister Ashley Troutman. He was married in July 2021 to Elizabeth (Durbin) Troutman. He was preceded in death by his spirit wife Erica Elam, and too many loved ones to name. Troy's personality was larger than life and if you knew him you knew to expect a lot of laughs and a lot of random things that only he could come up with. There will never be another like him. He had a tight group of friends that were for life, they were his brothers though not biologically. For the last few years he traveled the United States with his wife and dogs. First Autumn (may she rest in peace) and then Zeus. They were his constant companions. The mountains were his true home and I know he is standing on the tallest one looking out over a sunset. He was a warrior in all that he did and fought hard all the way to the very end. He is all around us. He's still protecting us as he always tried to do. Don't cry for him because he hated tears. Smile and remember the amazing times you had with him. That's what he would want you to do and you know he is right. It was Troy's desire not to have a ceremony, but to be remembered as he was in life.
