Obituary of Eliseo Sanchez

Eliseo Sanchez, 57, of Burlington, entered the gates of heaven on June 9, 2022. He was born to Maria and Tomas Sanchez in North Platte, Nebraska December 6, 1964. Eliseo loved to ride his motorcycle and enjoyed spending time with his dog “Meme”. His family and friends remember him as someone who “always kept it real”. He was known for turning bad days into good days. Family and friends were the most important thing to him. As a truck driver, he went out of his way to visit those he loved while he traveled. He adored his 4 children and his grandchildren. Eliseo will be missed tremendously and will always live on in our hearts. He would not want us to be sad but would want us to smile and live everyday as though it were your last. Eliseo is preceded in death by his father Tomas Sanchez; mother Maria N. Sanchez and nephew Mitchell Sanchez Martinez. He is survived by his four children Isaac Rodriguez of Burlington, CO, Anthony Rodriguez of Burlington, CO, Eliseo Jr, “EJ” of San Antonio, TX and Shae Sanchez of North Platte, NE; two sisters Elizabeth (Isidro) Martinez of Amarillo, TX and Josephine Favela of Burlington, CO; two brothers Carlos (Bernadine) Sanchez of Burlington, CO and Tomas Jr. (Erika) Sanchez of Andrews, TX. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A Visitation and Rosary will be held Monday June 13, 2022 at 5pm at Love Funeral Home Chapel 377 15th St. Burlington, CO. Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday June 14, 2022 at 10am at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church 450 3rd St. Burlington, CO. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Burlington, CO.
