Merle was a good man and I was glad he included me on some of the adventures he had with his sons. Danny, Doug, David and Darin, your dad taught you the values of good hard work and how to enjoy life. May you continue that with your kids and grandkids. May the Lord give you peace and grace during this time.

Rest in Peace, Uncle Merle.
I'm sorry I couldn't be there for your funeral, between my job schedule and COVID-19, but I will miss you as I have always, even during my times in California when much of Mary Worden's children were in estrangement from our mother's side of the family.
You were there during my mother's many crises, all the way to the end of her life and beyond, and for that, I have always felt that my branch of the Worden family has owed you some gratitude for sticking with her even when the rest of us cut her out of our lives for all the various problems, issues and disputes she brought to her children, myself included.
I will remember my days as a kid out there with my cousins at the beet dump, boating and waterskiing at Bonny Reservoir when it had water in it, and all the other times we spent with you.
Good luck, Uncle Merle!

May God bless your family during this time.
I enjoyed working for Merle at the beet dump so many years ago.
My heart is with all of you. Cherish the memories.
