Obituary of Norma Jeanne Allen

Jeanne Allen was born on October 12, 1928, in Cherryvale, Kansas. She was the youngest of four children born to Floyd Wesley Hild and Edna Gladys Foster. She graduated from Cherryvale High School in 1946 and worked as a secretary for Phillips Oil Company in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, before marrying Don Allen on March 25, 1951.To this union two children were born - Lisa Dawn in 1958 and Carl Gregory in 1960. Jeanne was a homemaker, seamstress and quiltmaker. Her hobbies included quilting, golf and bridge. She passed away at the age of 91 on March 31, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three siblings and her son. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Brewer and son-in-law Perry of Bethune; and by her granddaughter Tessa Whittiker and husband Cameron of Flagler. There will be no services, but memorials may be made to the Burlington Public Library and mailed to 321 14th Street in Burlington CO 80807.
