Obituary of Don D. Allen

Burlington, Colorado resident Don D. Allen passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Grace Manor Care Center in Burlington. He was 91 years old. Don Dell Allen was born on September 30, 1928 to Carl Kelso and Minnie Beatrice (Reardon) Allen in rural Labette County Kansas. He was the 5th of 9 children born to this union. After high school he earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering at Kansas University. He worked for Chevron Oil for 30 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, 8 siblings and 1 son; Carl Gregory Allen. Surviving Don are his wife Norma Jeanne Hild Allen, daughter Lisa Dawn Allen Brewer (Perry) and granddaughter Tessa Jo Whittiker (Cameron) of Flager. Mr. Allen's wishes were to be cremated and no service held.
