My condolences to the Fasse family. I just heard about Gene's passing. I enjoyed every conversation I ever had with him. He was a soft spoken, wise, and wonderful man. He will be missed.

Mr. Fasse was one of my favorite customer's here at John Deere in Burlington. When harvest season came around and I heard a call from Gene come through on the phone I would light up to go see him. Gene was a kind, soft spoken, hardworking wonderful man. Nothing in this world could ruffle his feathers but instead bring a smile ear to ear with a little chuckle. Gene will be greatly missed and not forgotten. I will miss the conversations in the combine that were random but made us both laugh and smile while trying to diagnose his machine and then laugh when he would say "why are you out here again" because we would get so side tracked. All in all Gene was a amazing man and one of kind friend that I will greatly miss!
