Obituary of Dorothy Turner

Dorothy (Ford) Turner passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018.

She was born on a farm outside Marlette, Michigan on May 26^th 1930 to Matthew and Edith Ford.

She married Gordon W. Turner on December 25, 1950.  She had 10 children; Barbara, Mary, Charles, Arthur, Eva, Annette, Jim, Reta, Ida and Brenda.

Dorothy did books for her husband, worked at Stuckey’s, Seibert Food store and helped multiple people with their housework, painting, etc.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gordon, her daughter Barbara Schaffer.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Mary (Cebert) Morgan, Charles Turner and Marilyn, Arthur (Becky) Turner, Eva (Glen) Klee, Annette Schaal and fiancé Clint Jones, Jim (Janet) Turner, Reta Turner, Ida Baker and Brenda (Ernie) Christensen.  Also surviving Dorothy are 24 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A private family graveside service was held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 followed by a family and friend gathering at the Seibert Community Center.
